About Me:

I’m Chad Lyons, a photographer drawn to surf, street, landscape, contemporary art, and portraiture. I learned my craft in the streets of Seattle, where shifting light and weather honed my eye over nearly a decade and hundreds of thousands of images.

I traveled the country on creative projects with Black Bear Brand and have volunteered as the primary photographer for the nonprofit Jack Munday Surf Experience. Now based in Carlsbad, California, the coast continues to inspire my work.

I make photographs that live between documentation and expression—images shaped by culture, memory, and connection. This site is where I share those explorations through prints, projects, and personal work
